Khadea Santi is an artist-curator working mainly with ceramics, writing and film, exploring interests in African cosmologies, critical autoethnography and histories. New rhythms, futures, must, include disabled futures, eliminate pathologizing, complex, performing, un-performing, structures, growing in the way, defiance, in face of, undesirability, determined, bindweed, printed at scale, potency, moved, frames, taped, held together, refusing, references to time, waiting “Frequency, incidence and scale”, re-determination, fifty six days, slipping, sweeping turquoise, teal, seafoam, mint hot pink, magenta, coral, charcoal, soft grey, paradox of invisible, and seen, porous, thorns piercing, assumptions, rules, not my rules, inherently ablest rules, ruling over, time slips, unsteady, a reckoning, indeterminacy, lean, for each other, binding, pink netting, wrapping, black shiny, reflective, catching the light, suspended in space, resolute lines, presence, counter, layered, making space, using the body, whole, to make space, expanding, stretching, outcasted, acquired or dated term, to understand histories and notions, recast, in social terms, dissent, humour, blue, electric blue, shapes, created from counters of the body, extend, lines, overlapping, forming, new cadences, permeable edge, multifaceted.
